Iceland Poppies, Violas, Spiderwort blooming. Nicotiana foliage. Daffodils have bloomed, foliage ripening.

Violas and Iceland poppies are still blooming as nicotiana comes on to take the show.

Nicotiana takes the stage. This is a time between the azalea show and the June Bloom when it is a challenge to have showy beds. The butterflies appreciate Sweet William which bridges the gap between azaleas and the sweet flowers of June.

As Black Eyed Susans began to bloom, I pulled and cut some nicotiana.
'Pineapple Crush' daylilies. The brave little violas need to go, now.
